disapointed to hear fergusons decision, but lets look forward now. Guys like Graeme Dorrans and Charlie Adam deserve their chance! |

say what you will about Ferguson, but i stood in the stadium in Oslo watching us capitulate to complete and utter diseray, and im convinced a Barry Ferguson in the middle of the park would have put up more of a fight than some of the others that night. On the pitch he was your type of player that could take games by the scruff of the neck and pull us out the preverbial.... His performance in the Italy match at Hampden, after we went 1-0 down, was second to none! |

And that is that kind of idiotic, backward, 1950's attitude that'll keep Scotland as an absymal national side who don't qualify for World Cups for years to come. |

Very good point. It's not about getting into the opposition, it's about being more technical and keeping the ball for longer, the way Holland, Spain and Germany do.
Look forward to the likes of Charlie Adam and Danny Swanson getting their chance, they are better technically than Ferguson. _________________ A proud member of the 45. Saor Alba. |

I've seen some hideous tackles from Holland, Spain and Germany so let's not get lost in the illusion that they play total football because they can and do mix it up when they have to. |

Good. He would have played against Spain and the Czechs and then decided he is too big to play aginst the dross of Lithuania and Liechenstein again. _________________ No no no no ma wee laddie. |

Am I the only one somewhat disappointed by this? He's performing very well in the EPL for a by all means excellent Brum side. I'd have welcomed him back. Too much of an onus is placed upon off the field actions. If he's a good player, get him in.
Kris Boyd, now there's a crap player. |

Lets see.Captain of Scotland whos suppposed to set an example, gets bladdered between two important qualifying games, gesticulates at all and sundry whilst on the bench, but never mind hes a decent player get him in.He then plays cat and mouse with Levein by saying he won`t play again pre Sweden friendly, then gives the impression pre Czech/Spain games he`d be happy to play again, then changes his mind yet again
Best shot |
