I was thinking about the season before (95/96) when it was £8 to stand behind the goals. _________________ Dougie Hill

I don't see how anyone can be surprised by this. Football is all about greed. _________________ If I were a fighter I'd probably kick your ass. |

How about sourcing sponsors to put money towards the ticket charges along with paying players wages. Start with using some income and put it towards reducing the junior prices. They are our future, and more financially beneficial in the long haul, and are more important than short term fixes like outside companies paying for John Daly or Rudi Skacel. At least be upfront about the additional charges, rather than spout nonsense about extra policing costs. If so reduce the charges when we don't open the away end for the visit of Dumbarton and Queen of the south, so there are less stewards and police required. |

A huge chunk of ticketing goes towards VAT, how about petitioning the powers that be to reduce the tax? _________________ Hope he's got plenty Rovers action to comment on tonight.... |

The Vat is per cost of ticket surely? I'm not really sure what your point is. I would rather see more juniors through the door week in and out with reduced ticket prices, subsidised through extra sponsorship, or even the TV money from alba. We are in danger of having a fife derby with less than 4000 spectators depending on how the first 2 games go for both teams. We can't even be bothered selling tickets online. |

Eric said at the meeting that they should be confirmed soon, they were waiting on all the other clubs announcing theirs first. |

If the tickets are for sale online, why is it not announced on the net with the rest of the information about the Derby, or is it a secret? |

It's mentioned on the front page of the website, granted you have to have a wee search about for it though |

Thanks I found it. Unfortunately it's not a smooth process. Choosing your seat option doesn't seem to work. No seating plan, so I can see why they are not promoting online ticket sales everywhere because the service is rank. Hopefully the new ticket plan mentioned last night will help. |

We'd better hope the other teams aren't waiting on us to announce our prices before they decide on their's. _________________ Dougie Hill
