Why wait for other teams to tell their prices why not just come out and say what ours is.Why are we putting prices up for the townies game when we dont even know if we are putting the prices up.Who also cares if they sell 1 stand or 2 we should be looking after our fans first not worrying about others especially those from east end park. _________________ YOULL NEVER WALK ALONE

But ultimately as I said people will refuse to go because of the £20 price & in my opinion in a strange sort of way we would've got more money if it had been less as more folk would go, a load of people paying £18 is a lot better than a lot of folk refusing to pay £20. |

So basically the club want to increase walk up prices but are waiting to see what other clubs are charging before deciding if they can get away with it. _________________ If I were a fighter I'd probably kick your ass. |

Maybe the club would be better just saying "look we are skint and are spending more money than we make. Look what happened to Dunfermline when they done that. However we can mitigate our losses somewhat by increasing admission charges by a modest 11% for our biggest gates of the season against Pars, Hibs and Utd. That way the financial hit will be shared out among our rivals supporters and not just the Starks Park faithful. We apologise to those fans who can't afford to attend those games and assure them that the price structure isn't set for reasons of greed but for reasons of fiscal necessity." _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

Agree Castle I have no problem with increasing the prices for the bigger games. Most regulars are ST holders so will not be affected. |

Well considering we sold the entire Main Stand to Sevco fans last year and threw out our own faithful supporters for financial gain this is surely not a surprise. |

However if for example we get a crowd of 4000 for the game paying the £20 we would need approx another 500 fans to go at £18 to receive the same gate money.
Do you honestly think that there will be 500 people who wont go because its £2 more expensive? Personally think we would get near enough the same crowd whether we charged £16/£18 or £20 and that's just purely down to the apathy towards the Rovers, sad but true. |

I think this game has the potential to draw in a better crowd than people might think.
Especially if both teams start the season well, I can see this one attracting a 5500+ attendance. |

The pricing won't stop the majority of the regulars attending, myself included. The question is how many of the fans that only turn out for the big games will it attract? How many new or young fans will this attract? Not many in my opinion. 1500 regulars with 500 or 600 on top if we are lucky. The price, the fact that it's all ticket and the awful online ticket set up, which is poorly marketed are major factors. Hopefully with it being the first derby in several years, with a positive start to the season it will boost the numbers, but I can't see it being that much over 4000 unless the Pars fill the away end. I hope I'm wrong and we get 6 or 7 thousand, but our fans haven't turned up in large numbers since the glory days of Grant Murray and our cup final. |

Eric said at the meeting that they should be confirmed soon, they were waiting on all the other clubs announcing theirs first. |
We'd better hope the other teams aren't waiting on us to announce our prices before they decide on their's. |
The other teams have all confirmed their prices. |
If anyone isn't aware of the other prices:
Ayr United - Adults £17, concessions (OAP/student) £10 & U16s £5
Dumbarton - Adults £18, concessions (OAP/student/U16) £9 & Parent/U12 £24
Dundee United – Adults £20 (£22 in upper tier) & concessions (OAPs, U18s & students) £10 (£12 in upper tier)
Dunfermline Athletic - Adults £17, concessions (OAPs/students/unemployed/under 18s) £11 & U12s £5
Falkirk - Adults £18, concessions (OAPs/students/unemployed) £12, U18s £6 & U12s Free
Greenock Morton – Adults £20, concessions (OAPs/students) £15, 12-16 year olds £5 & U12s Free (£2 cheaper adult & 12-16 year old tickets available in advance)
Hibs - Adults £22 & concessions (U18s/students/OAPs) £12
QOS - Adults £16, concessions (OAPs/students) £9 & U16s £5
St Mirren – Adults £20, concessions (OAPs/U18s/Disabled) £10 & U12s £5
Dundee United appear to be housing away supports in the West Stand behind the goals which would be lower tier. |

To me in this day and age the team out of liam's list that is the most sensible as far as pricing goes is QOS. The hungriest appears to be after Hibs and Dundee Utd is Morton they appear to be money grabbing persons and I for one will not venture there to be treated like scum and put in a stand that should have been pulled down years ago. But hey that's only me. |

Am I right in thinking one or two teams do what we are doing, charging more for 'bigger' games? Dumbarton done it last year I'm sure |

I would guess we are going to be 20 for Pars, Hibs and Arabs, 18 for rest though it would be nice if club could offset things a bit by charging 15/16 for the likes of Dumbarton and Ayr. Or as has been suggested, offer a 4 or 5 game pass for games outwith 'big 3' for knockdown price, averageing 15 quid a game or somethin? I know I would buy it since my commitments mean I can't make several games and ones I DO make, I don't know I can go til that day |
