Battle of the teams who can't win a game to save their lives.
Can we do it at the 17th attempt? See the poll.
If so, who is scoring? Where is the creativity coming from?
If we lose... _________________ This is the year we win the Play-offs. |

If we had taken some points v QOTS , the pressure would have been off us for this game. Again,it's a must win. I feel we will go out in this game with a defensive set up and be hard to beat. It's time to start winning ugly. Everything is on the line now over the next few games. We have got to start picking up points by hook or by crook. _________________ Only on fan talk can supporters find a negative in a 5-0 win. 🤔 |

I'd love to see us win but my money (if I still bet on fixed odds football) would be on a 0-0 or 1-1 draw. _________________ This is the year we win the Play-offs. |

It`s not a must win and a draw would be acceptable as it would maintain the current gap over Ayr.
As far as I am concerned we are now in a relegation dogfight and every point is vital. Fortunately for us Ayr seem to be every bit as bad as we are so the most important thing is that we must not lose to them. |

Hughes should play a natural back 4 with 3 in CM, 2 wide players supporting lone striker but essentially making a front 3 when attacking
Brennan (if fit)
Thompson, Bene, Mvoto, Mchattie
J. Thomson, C. Barr, R. Mathews,
B. Barr, Coustrain or Johnson (high up as wingers)
McManus or Hardie
Subs
Callachan
Davo
Coustrain or Johnson
R. Stevenson
Osei
Gk
Not sure if that's 1 to many subs or not |

Is that the one just over the dyke out the back of the stand?
As Burns didnae say in Tam O' Shanter
"Auld Ayr wham ne'er a toon surpasses for honest men and bonnie lassies......and boolin' clubs!"
There has to be six or seven of them at least. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

I'd go with that but with 1 exception, Jordan Thompson is out of his depth so he can be the one to fill a spot on the bench. _________________ Competitive goals: Vaughan 19, Easton 11, Hamilton 10, Smith 9, Stanton 7, Mullin 4, Connolly 3, O'Reilly 3, Rudden 3, S Brown 2, Dick 1, Gullan 1, Masson 1, Matthews 1, Millen 1, Mitchell 1, Murray, Watson 1, OG's 1, |

If we can't sign a goalkeeper in time and none of the other two are fit can we not ask for the game to be cancelled? |

I'd have thought we could sign a keeper on a short term deal, so long as they're unattached. |

Yeah I'm sure Ayr would be more than happy to agree to that.... _________________ Nothing to see here... |

I'd imagine Ayr would be bealin, but I think Zico may be right - you can request a postponement in exceptional circumstances (remeber last season St Mirren requested a postponement of a game at Stark's Park due to having 3 players away with the Scotland under 21s, despite the fact two of them were on loan and not even their players). _________________ Dougie Hill
