Do we know if he is anywhere near kicking a ball again yet? |
Is he not still on holiday with his new fiance _________________ Murray |

Was hoping to catch a wee glimpse of him in video too. Thinking about it though, probably needs a different approach to last few years and be eased in slowly, this is surely his last shot at it so a full on pre season with rest of team probably a no-no.
Hopefully we can have (positive!) updates on Vaughan and Lang soon.. |

IM said "back in a couple of week" so take it he must be training. Of course we all hope he exceeds all expectations, but we have to be prepared that he might not. Even a return to his former form, without further mishap, would be a wee mracle It would be best-case-scenario. Hope it all goes well - very well! The man deserves it and so do the club for standing by him! |

Fully agree with your post,Neil.
I'm sure that the huge majority of Rovers' fans (and, indeed, many fair-minded fans of other clubs) will be willing that LV has an injury-free return.
John Sim is a huge fan of Lewis and I'm sure that he backed giving LV an extended contract at the time. |

“With Lewis Vaughan coming back in the squad in the next two weeks” was the exact quote. I would take that a possible for selection, but I would be hugely surprised at anything but a couple of low time cameos for the next month or so. |

Here here.
I really feel for the guy.
Home grown, an outstanding prospect who has had little to no luck for years.
An injury free Vaughn could really have changed the outcome of so many games and would in all likelihood would have been moved on for a good fee with a bit of luck.
I truly hope his time to shine will come at San Starko very soon.
Will be at tomorrow’s game.

Other channel stating that LV played in his bounce game yesterday.....and scored.
If he has no adverse reaction (don't know how much of the game he played )
perhaps he will be on the bench on Saturday. That thought might swell the crowd.
Excited, but nervous. |

I hope he's not on the bench, because it's too soon.
Playing twice in a week after what he's been through is not what he needs - maybe once a fortnight is better. |

Murray said as much in one of the papers today. Said it depends on how he is after the Tuesday bounce game. |

Practiced Thursday AM without issue…took off Thursday PM…will be evaluated Friday with an eye to being available for selection Saturday. I assume IM means on the bench versus Plastic Whistle, with a small chance of a few minutes. |

That's exactly the way it will go should he be fine. Am sure he will get the final 5 mins to run onto the park in front of the home fans. |
