Not true. They must either be compliant that OR have requested a waiver by March 31, 2024. I’m not aware of anyone saying anything, but it’s not unlikely someone has done something that might embarrass the SPFL in light of this decision.
Going off the SFA’s 2023 master list, and knowing changes are likely to have occurred:
Airdrie, Kelty and Peterhead lacked First Team and Admin Bronze only, not a terribly difficult fix. However, Peterhead are likely are the least capable of incurring the costs to upgrade to Bronze.
Bonnyrigg lacked Ground, First Team and Admin, but the ground issue isn’t the slope, so their path isn’t impossible, but it’s quite a requirement.
Cove lacked Ground and Admin Bronze, a much higher potential hurdle than the first three have.
F.C. Edinburgh also lacked Ground, First Team and Admin, and given their “issues” are a good candidate for saving Stranraer/Clyde from themselves by getting booted. |

Last summer Scottish League clubs voted through a recommendation all teams competing in the country’s top four divisions must hold a Scottish FA bronze club licence from season 2024-25.
The SFA last updated their club licence list last month. It shows five clubs already in the SPFL – Airdrieonians, Cove Rangers, Edinburgh City, Kelty Hearts and Peterhead – don’t yet have a bronze licence.
It is understood these clubs are working to attain the required licence, but there is uncertainty about what could happen if they don’t achieve it in time for next term. _________________ THERES FIVE OF ME |

And the 2024/2025 Licencing Manual specifically notes that waivers can be requested, and if so must be requested by March 31, 2024. The July 1, 2024 deadline is, as always, written in pencil IF you follow the process. I’d love the link to the updated list, I couldn't find it. |

I'm glad Stranraer survived the play-off.
3-3 agg and scoring two goals in the last 3 minutes of extra time, cairds fleeing about and coached getting sent to the stand. _________________ Hope he's got plenty Rovers action to comment on tonight.... |

That's a shame.
I was convinced big Dunc would be a roaring success there. _________________ Dougie Hill

Totally forgot about that game.
Like your goodself, I, too, am glad that they survived. Had the pleasure of meeting some of their committee a few years ago at Starks and went through a "isn't it a small world" scenario with two of them regarding living in Caithness and my location in particular! From one end of the country to the other!😀 _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Don't know if he even managed the roaring part to be honest.
Gathering together a decent CV on relegating clubs.😊
How could you go from Carlo Ancelotti's (now of Real Madrid) assistant to League 1 in Scotland?
Very easily I hear you answer ! 🥹 _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

It'll be a meeting of minds right enough when Dunc and Willie Gibson lock horns at Galabank next season. _________________ Dougie Hill
