Thomson at right back and then either Murray/McHattie at left back.
Tough on McKay perhaps but his time will come. |
This..
Left back is a tricky one though.Murray is better defendng than McHattie but distribution is generally poor.McHattie better going forward and distribution wise _________________ THERES FIVE OF ME |

Bit of a generalisation and not as black and white in my view but you have the option of McHattie at home when we are in the accendancy much more and Murray in the tricky blood n snotter away games on tight crappy pitches.
Big IF, huge infact... McHattie returns to full fitness then I would be starting him at left back every week. Constantly being in/out and hampered by injury has meant we haven’t seen the best of him as a player.
Good to see Davo finding a wee bit consistency, few months ago Bene/Murray would have been my choice pairing at back every day of the week.
In general, if the injury gods shine on us then we are going to be pretty strong in general for run in if Cuthbert is our only long term player out. If he isn’t returning, then replace Zanatta and we are good to go in my book! |
