They had the funds, alas they were ours.
We stupidly gave them North Stand tickets to sell for the game on the 2nd January, the trouble was, they never handed the money over to us.
They reluctantly gave us dribbs and drabs for the later game but came under too much pressure and eventually gave over the whole stand with us selling the briefs and eventually recouping our funds.
By this time the damage was done, they signed Hardie and got Rutkiewicz on loan from St Johnstone to bolster their ranks. _________________ Hope he's got plenty Rovers action to comment on tonight.... |

Ach well - they have made amends this season, by thrashing Dundee United - and losing five times to us! |

Nerves kicking in early today! With a full squad available, going over all the possible permutations of the team in my head but suspect IM 's selection will differ from mine. But, whatever, we will have a strong bench for that late push to victory! |

Nerves kicking in for me as well and also pessimism. Don't worry about that as I usually feel that way whenever we have a big game and this season it's often been misplaced. Was going over some of the numbers earlier and, if I'm correct, if either of us win today then in two weeks time when we play Patrick the title could potentially be won or lost depending on the results before then. It's possible this title race could quickly be over.
I reckon it'll be a feisty, ill tempered affair today with a red card or two and a scoreline that one way or another isn't going to be a single goal victory. _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

Many of us have complained about “ only” one goal victories, today however, I will be happy to settle for “ just” the 1 goal victory ✌️.

Assuming one team loses today, and continues to lose, while the other continues to win, yes, the Partick match on 13 April could decide it.
With the game in hand, we have slightly more permutations and a wee bit more wiggle room, but I suspect the earliest the title might be decided is the Friday, 26 April Airdrie vs DU match, and the Rovers at Morton the next day is the more likely one. That being said, given the way this season has gone, both DU and the Rovers at home the final weekend is looking like inspired scheduling, |

Team line up today.
Big kev
Brown

Mullen
Easton
Turner
Vaughan
Rudden.
I'm happy with that, I would of picked that team.
No Gallagher for them. |

I think if you look again you'll see Watson is on the bench.🤔
Both Browns start. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Yes just seen that. Could of sworn it was Watson in and brown on bench. Certainly, that's what I would of preferred. |

Very offensive line up. Hope we don't get overrun in the middle. Matthews industry will be missed I reckon though no doubt we'll be gaining something if Turner gets the enough of the ball with time and space. _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

None of Scott Brown, Rossco or Shaun Byrne in midfield. Sam Stanton as ball winner rather than any of those and not playing further forward. Not the team I would have gone for after our recent defensive improvements. Just have to keep faith in IM. |

1 nil down already.
I've been feeling that this could be a bad day for the last few days.
Just think that we could well have stirred and poked the United nest with all the pre match verbals this past week.
Stuff like that has a habit of coming back to bite you on the rear end.
Also I don't think that the starting line up without Mathews is the best selection.
But hey ho! Who knows?
We can only but hope 🤞🤞 _________________ Talk on! Talk on!
