Not good news, Gordon has been our best and most consistent player for years.
McGregor (if his mind is on the job) would be the best option, prefer Alexander to the other two you mention after that.... |

The only possible reason for considering Jamie Langfield is that he was (briefly) a Rovers player. Granted he played about 4 games, wasn't very good, and then left for more money but still. There aren't many ex-Rovers that have played for Scotland in the last few years, not since Jimmy Nic's group of players all got too old/useless to get into squads. |

Jamie Langfield is an atrocious goalkeeper, the fact diddies like he and Lee Miller get in the squad shows how shocking we are at the moment.
McGregor for me but then he's pretty rotten as well. |

That was why I said his brief time at the Rovers was his one redeeming quality. I wouldn't select him either, he's awful. Plus he was a bit of a mercenary. Plus he played for the Townies. |

Are you on glue??
McGregor is a blóódy good keeper, better than any keeper currently playing in Scotland.
Anyway can't be that bad if he's playing with the current SPL champions. |

Oh yes, playing for Rangers is a sign of how good a player is, they never have anyone who's not all that good. I heard Carlos Puyol's been asking Kirk Broadfoot for tips, and David Villa says he has a poster of Kenny Miller on his wall...
McGregor can't catch crosses, nor can he organise a defence at a set piece. Just because he makes showcase saves now and then doesn't make him a good goalkeeper. He's not even a million miles near the class of Gordon. |

Any goalkeeper can be a hero or villain on their day.
If the recent world cup is anything to go by, he will only be required to actually make any sort of save, twice in a game- tops.
I'd be much more concerned about our goalscorers than our goalkeepers.
Where the heck are our goals going to come from? |

I think our mid could be quite good to create/score the goals to get us into the playoffs (Spain are gonna win the group)
Fletcher, Dorrans, Adam, McFadden, Brown.
Up front, I think Steven Fletcher is about to blossom, he'll get a few goals for Wolves this season. I expect Boyd to be revitalised following his move to Boro, so I'm confident we can get 2nd place. _________________ A proud member of the 45. Saor Alba. |
