Hughes need to get his finger out and field a team capable of winning this game.
Ayr won't go down without a fight, fact they have no pressure now makes them more dangerous.
4-4-2, two wingers and two strikers please. If other results go our way we could still finish 8th or even 7th which lets face it, is pretty mental
Got to still believe

We'll need to regroup after that humping this afternoon, players and fans both. I'm assuming anyone who travelled through for that will be absolutely livid tonight. Hopefully by Monday we can focus on winning this game.
At the same time we'll need to cross our fingers that St Mirren and/or Dumbarton lose. Failing that we're in the relegation play-offs.
That said, we deserve to finish 9th. Some part of me thinks we deserve to be relegated, which makes it hard to get up for the fight.
I see East Fife have blown it, so it looks like we'll be playing Brechin or Airdrie.
So, onto this decider. Can we beat the worst, or at least equal worst, team in the league at home? Hopefully Matthews is back. I'm assuming it was a one match suspension. I'd like to see Hardie and Stewart back in the team for this one too. _________________ This is the year we win the Play-offs. |

The Board have to relieve Hughes of his employment and let Craig Easton select the team and get them in a better frame of mind for this vital game against Ayr. |

Well Dumbarton getting a point at Utd now all but condemns us to the play offs. Beating Ayr is by no means certain but even if we do I find inconceivable that St Mirren will throw away all their hard work over the past four months and fail to take something from Hibs. _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

We can't be relegated at 4.50 on Saturday unless somehow Ayr gub us 6-0.
Might see a 2-2-6 formation. _________________ A proud member of the 45. Saor Alba. |

What we have to do is steady the ship. Having just lost 5 goals we can't have concede another whack with a first leg play off game only three days later. _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

Actually if we lose this game by five we'd be relegated. _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

This game is pretty much pointless now. Play the u20s. Not a single player who disgraced the shirts they wear today should be playing next week. _________________ If I were a fighter I'd probably kick your ass. |

Call it wishful thinking but I wouldn't be totally surprised if we won and Hibs beat St Mirren. Fair play to St Mirren as they gave us a going over today but celebrating like they're already safe is a risky strategy. Hopefully Hibs want to finish off with a victory and we can somehow beat Ayr! |

We barely deserve to stay in the league but if we can't beat Ayr then we definitely don't. |

Would need to be 11 or 12 nil as the goal difference is 10 |
