Our forwards need extra training on hitting the target, no disrespect to Annan but we shouldn't be struggling against teams of that level, and if we continue in that vein, we'll more than struggle against better championship sides
Theres no doubt injurys are hurting us atm, the sooner they clear up the better |

I think Dundee require to win by 2 goals to halt our progress. |

Sloppy at the back and didn't take our chances up top.
Shot ourselves in the foot.
Quite how Smith and Easton lasted the 90 I'm not sure, I'd have hooked one or both and given Mitchell 20 mins. _________________ Competitive goals: Vaughan 19, Easton 11, Hamilton 10, Smith 9, Stanton 7, Mullin 4, Connolly 3, O'Reilly 3, Rudden 3, S Brown 2, Dick 1, Gullan 1, Masson 1, Matthews 1, Millen 1, Mitchell 1, Murray, Watson 1, OG's 1, |

More agony to come tomorrow? |
They're due us one for all the points they've garnered from us over the last twenty years and counting π€ _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Reading stats on Dundee v ICT games. Apparently Dundee have only beaten them by two clear goals twice in their history, 1994 and 2005. Further to this, ICT have a better record at Dens. Its only stats and each game can only be taken on its on merit.
If only we scored another today or kept 1 of theirs out.
Worry is that ICT are playing for nothing and may use game to get minutes into players. |

Inverness have a poor record in that group with two defeats to Airdrie and Dumbarton and only a marginal win at home to Bonnyrigg Rose. Our best hope might be if Dodds wants his players to compete - show him what they can do - to claim starting places for the league and to make up for this.
Will Dundee see this as do-able? - absolutely (hopefully too cocky). It may yet pan out in our favour, if Dundee don't score too early. There's the pressure element too. Let's hope that that Curse of the Caley doesn't extend to messing this up for us too! |

I don't agree with Dundee playing tomorrow, knowing exactly what they have too do. Surely a cup comp with a league has all last games kicking off at the same time for that very reason. |

I totally agree.
In the World Cup final group matches have to all start so that no one country has an advantage.
Indeed it also applies to final league matches.
The precedent was set that no team should gain advantage over others by virtue of knowing exactly what they had to do.
If memory serves it all started when east Germany played west Germany in the final group match knowing a draw would allow BOTH German teams to go through from their group. _________________ Born a Rover Live a Rover Die a Rover |

You've nailed it Cuparman.
1974 World Cup in West Germany (at that time) if I recall correctly. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Yes, almost right. It was a game in the early 80's, west Germany against either Hungary or Austria, cannot mind which. A one nil one for the Germans seen both team advance.
Germany scored and both teams more or less just stopped. |

"Nail on the heid", badpress!π
It was W Germany v Austria in the 1982 World Cup.
Germany scored then the two just strolled around to the end of the game as both went through at the expense of Algeria.
Thanks for the correction.
Much appreciated. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!
