If both teams make the playoffs, potentially 8 times this season, and the Fife Cup is a possibility too. |

Never. Where did you get this figure from? I'm sure it's closer to around £80k for TV coverage. |

I stand corrected, you are indeed right. Just looked it up for a 3rd round televised game it's a poor £3.5k each and a further £9.5k for the team who is knocked out after the tie. Both clubs I reckon would of made far more money had the TV left us alone and we played it on a Saturday afternoon. |

The £80k number is close to the English Cup TV payout for this round…I think that’s £100k, and £50k for a televised replay. The money simply isn’t there in Scottish fitba TV deals…smaller markets, little to no international interest, s****y marketing…you name it. |

That's a big gulf in the sums of money between the third and fourth round for both TV and loser's payments.
We'll just have to progress past this game and hope to be back on the tele again. Maybe the semis?
It's been done before 😉 _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Ticket sales don't look all that great from both sides. With it being on TV and a Friday night maybe a cheaper ticket might of encouraged more to attend. |

I was going to be heading with the missus and the two bairns but at £50 for tickets? Throw in travel costs, food costs, drink cost when game is on TV?
Now going to be a carry out, a take away and us all watching it in the house.
Saves time, effort and probably in excess of 50/60 quid.
I assume there are many in a similar boat, so if these figures for live TV money are accurate, they aren’t good. |

Was reading on a pars forum that it is down to us for ticket prices not being lowered as we did not agree with this. Maybe something in this or possibly just nonsense. |

Well, if the teams do not agree, standard home league prices are automatically applied. Since the standard prices are NOT what these tickets are going for, the two clubs agreed on the prices. |

KW out for at least next 3/4 weeks after surgery on his knee,Murray suspended and Masson doubtful could see O,Reilly thrown in at the deep end.Throw in Dundee not allowing Byrne to play either
Millen suspended for Inverness game the following week _________________ THERES FIVE OF ME |

A fraction concerned for this one lads.
I have said in a previous post that the Pars are going to come good, and last week against Inverness I believe they hit the woodwork EIGHT times!
I would have our Groundsmen sneak into EAP in the dark adding several coats of paint to the Goalposts just as a wee contribution toward our safety.
Not so good news on Watson but our new signing might just come on and play the game of his life?
Here's hoping

Is it a definite re Byrne not being able to play? With him being a season long loan deal would of thought they would allow him to play except against his parent club.
If he is not available, going to have to play brown back in midfield, with possibly Corr and Dan at the back, both with limited fitness. |
