Vaughan’s strike was quality but I think the keeper was fooled like me, thinking it was going to be a Connolly curler.
That was an easy night in general, well chuffed |

A win was always on the cards after the second one went in. It could have been closer on different night though. It was just not Dunfermline's night. Great, fast, determned and entertaining performance from the side! Better than 0 - 0, extra time, then penalties!
Anyone else notice the scoreline was displayed at 0 - 1 in stoppage time?
Pleased that we fought for the clean-sheet, right up to the final whistle.
Worth noting that all of our league wins were by a single goal. Our last two (cup) games were by three clear goals - against decent sides! A good sign!
Draw at 7.15 on Sunday.
I feel a Dylan Easton post-match coming on! |

That's ten goals scored in the last three games. Not too shabby with the way things are, regarding available personnel. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Excellent stuff from Murray’s men tonight with Brown and Easton the pick of the bunch. Pars look like they couldn’t score in a cat house but we totally out played them from the off despite missing a few regulars.
4 goals in 3 games for Hammy, Easton torturing them, Vaughan punishing the ropey keeper and boy does that lad Stanton like playing against the pars.
With Muzza back available and hopefully Dick back we head to the hielands looking stronger even if without Millen.
Byrne will return and possibly Brown back in midfield we could be in great shape for the trip North.
Great times.😁 _________________ Competitive goals: Vaughan 19, Easton 11, Hamilton 10, Smith 9, Stanton 7, Mullin 4, Connolly 3, O'Reilly 3, Rudden 3, S Brown 2, Dick 1, Gullan 1, Masson 1, Matthews 1, Millen 1, Mitchell 1, Murray, Watson 1, OG's 1, |

Were the Pars woeful or were we just really good? Probably a bit of both but our makeshift formation worked a treat against them. Sometimes it left us a bit exposed in the full back positions but it certainly meant we had plenty options when pressing forward. Pass marks to everyone tonight. Mullen, Smith, Easton, Vaughan and Connelly put in a heck of a shift tracking back when required and Brown and Stanton were their usual impressive selves.
Hamilton won more than his fair share in the air and gets his fourth goal in three games.
An assured performance from Big Kev. He's come on leaps and bounds since the start of the season and looks much more comfortable with crosses into the box.
Well done to O'Reilly as well. To come into the team at such short notice and put in a solid performance is a credit to him.
Going to watch the game on the TV now. Hope Vaughan's goal is as good as it looked. _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

That was a great evening's entertainment!
No doubt it was a good watch on TV but nothing can beat being at a live match like that.
All heroes but special mention for Hamilton, Stanton and Brown.....and I wasn't surprised by Vaughany 's goal, he is not letting Sam score more goals against the Pars
than he has! |

Just listened to it and the stat about home games is certainly one I hadn't a clue about. So no hope that Gordie Brown would be able to quote it given his performance at HT on the tele 🫣😂 _________________ Talk on! Talk on!
