So that’s Young on the bench, and that’s it. Dick at CB, Masson at RB, the usual suspects elsewhere, |

Once again gei nippit for subs.
Ach! It's the last one for the season but high hopes on the horizon if today's news comes to fruition.🤞🙏 _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Not surprised to be behind or indeed disappointed to be honest. Season can't finish quick enough so we can maybe reset for a better future. Can only hope so 🤞 _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

The Raith guys did the Club proud this evening. In the first half we were very much second best but, credit to IM, in the absence of more than one sub, he switched various personnel around and made a fist of it.
It was quite incredible watching so many first choices trooping out of the Players Box
at half time!!🙄
A number of players handed over jerseys at Full Time. I wonder, though, is the most significant gesture that Jamma was the last of the players to leave the pitch and stood, not applauding the South Stand but waving to the fans....waving goodbye? |

Have to say one sub for the second game running, for a Championship side, has a bit of a whiff about it. I wonder if we needed 3 points tonight for a play off spot if we'd have had 12 available with a kid on the park and one on the bench? Going by Murrays pre match I presumed as a minimum there would be last weeks squad plus Lang and Vaughan.
The game looked well beyond us first half and it looked like we could have had a doing.
Brilliant second half from the team. Deserved draw and with any kind of first team surely a game we'd have won. |

Many absentees were 'at it' tonight.
I heard from a very good source that Connor McBride was fit to play tonight, but had been told he wouldn't be offered a contract for next season, so didn't turn up.
Absolute shitehouse behaviour from a player under contract and I'd imagine he wasn't the only one. _________________ Dougie Hill

I find it unlikely, in that managers and staff talk, as do owners and Boards. Any rumour McBride mailed it in would be the death of his signing for many teams if they asked and it was confirmed. I’d say grain of salt time. |

While Partick were by far the better side, our make shift team did get stuck into them. And we gave them a fright.
Some old faults, useless free kicks, etc. and MacDonald drives me nuts with his dreadful kick outs, slowing the game down, etc. While he is a good shot stopper, I hope we bring in another Davy McGurn type of keeper.
Oooh aye and several goalscorers, and while we are at it , better tactics

A much better performance and exciting game to end on. Was good to see the 12 players scrap for everything.
He’ll no doubt be away but Akio at right wing was great with the link up with Vaughan.
Glad the season is over and there’s a bit positivity again. Thanks to the players for their efforts this season. _________________ RIP RONNIE |

Given the seniority of the person who told me, I'm prepared to take his word.
It was well known that Goncalves didn't turn up for training most of the time at Livingston, but it didn't stop us signing him. _________________ Dougie Hill

I understand, but Gonçalves is a different kettle of fish than McBride. A young player would be absolutely stupid to do that, especially one signed “off the street” like McBride. Doesn’t mean that he didn’t, but it seems unlikely. However, a player with a contract agreed elsewhere would potentially be a different deal, so maybe that’s where the fire is for that smoke on some players? |

There were almost more players in the Players Box than there were on the field last night and I clocked most of them. My son is adamant that McBride was amongst them. Surely, if he simply wouldn't play, he would have been refused entry to be with the other guys? |

Irrespective ..... a Championship team fielding 12 players including a couple that should be nowhere near the first team is grim. |
