Saw on the other channel that our Coca Cola Cup Final Man of the Match is 67 today.
A class act who just oozed composure. _________________ Dougie Hill

Aye, no half SG.
I was mesmerised by his control of a ball one day at SP when he miraculously stopped dead a very fast moving ball at around 4 feet in the air with his foot! He then trapped it dead on the ground, and from his own half delivered a Beckham like pass into the opposition box. The skill utilised in this move was incredible, especially the ability to stop the ball dead so high in the air? It was surely against the laws of physics as I knew them! My mate and I simply looked at each other with dropped jaws in awe of this skilful play.
Then there was the Goal against Brazil. Aye, a "toe poke" my backside.
I was also led to believe he was a very unassuming private individual who pretty much shunned the limelight. |

He still is a very private unassuming guy.
Rarely takes part in any significant anniversaries for United, for example. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!
