Football aside for a moment.
The old Ayr Station Hotel is on fire and as part of the station complex the line is closed into the town.
Anyone travelling by train may have to make alternate arrangements.

They did great homemade soup!!
Hopefully a better broth for this week. As already said - need a striker up there with the striker and keep the ball on the deck _________________ Here Wee go again |

Obviously not expecting a big travelling support as they've bumped us into the main (only) stand. _________________ Dougie Hill

I know he's a fans favourite but I'd rather see Vaughan in the position that Stanton is currently playing in. I always feel that Stanton looks most dangerous when breaking from further back but I don't feel comfortable leaving our defence to cope without Brown and Byrne offering the protection they do so I'm not sure where I could fit him in. Regardless I think Vaughan is our most dangerous player and I'd always want him playing if fit to do so.
Quite worried about how we will cope against the Ayr attack. Logan Chalmers looks very impressive in the moments I have seen of him this season.
Would happily take a draw right now. _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

Very interesting interview of IM by Niall on Raith TV.
It will be a relief if Keith Watson gets the all clear to play on Saturday.
Seems that at long, long last Ross Matthews is making progress . Will be quite some time before he's back challenging for a starting place but, once he does, he has a skillset which will benefit our midfield.
It would be a surprise if we added a loan player , but, just maybe someone becomes available who could add something different. No-one would want to come to sit on the bench , so the likelihood of taking on someone is very small ( and we need to keep our books balanced !). Just as long as we don't put out Aidan Connolly on loan to get his fitness up. That would be very unpopular!
No idea how we will line up , far less if we will triumph or not. If LV doesn't start, the minimum is to give him 30/25 minutes playing in his best position , off the striker. A second defeat would be a real dampener , so I'll go for a narrow win , 1-2. |

It’s great to have such depth to our squad but it appears to be causing IM difficulties in picking his strongest starting 11. Let’s hope he gets it right today and we sneak a win _________________ Two pints prick |

Am going to this game, only about 20 mile journey for me.
Ayr have had a couple of good results lately, let us hope we pee on their parade today.
Local forecast is rain from 3 pm onwards for about five hours.....this information should be treated as suspect though. We all know how accurate forecasts are.
Hoping our players have their game heads on.🤞🤞🙏🏻 _________________ Born a Rover Live a Rover Die a Rover |

No Watson, Jack on the bench with McGill, Hannah and Masson. I’m suspecting three at the back with those three not starting. |

Brown to play centre half? Vaughan up top on his own so needs to be played along the floor _________________ Two pints prick |

Best report is a 4-1-3-2, Brown at CB, Easton and Mullion wide, Byrne withheld with Stanton in the middle, Smith hanging back to the left side and Vaughan up top. |
