Am I missing something or is there not a thread for this one?
My Pars pals are not confident about this clash , so much so that a couple ( Season Ticket Holders at EEP, not casual fans ) are not intending to come along. Very odd attitude to the Fife Derby !
Seems they are missing three key players ,including Bene and Matty Todd and they are spooked!
It's not as if we will be at full strength either!
Difficult to predict the result, not least because we don't know what our lineup and bench might be. We are favourites with many, but if we end up on the right side with a single goal margin, I'll be delighted . |

This will be a close match. There is not much between all the teams in this league, apart from DUFC.
All our league wins so far have been by a single goal and i would gladly settle for another.
I don't know our current injury list, but Easton is such an important player for us, hopefully he will make it. |

I'm pretty sure Easton will be out. He posted an image on his social media of his knee in strapping. We will find out soon enough. |

Best guess is Thomson is practicing but not ready to be backup…
Watson and Corr are out, Murray has an ongoing shoulder issue, but is probable…
Matthews isn’t ready, Easton seems likely to be out, Byrne is unclear…
Hamilton and Gullan are both tossups, based upon recent data, Hamilton the more possible IMO. |

Looking like a decent day's weather tomorrow for the game, unlike Sunday in the Kingdom 🥺
It'll be a tight affair and the Pars will be desperate to get back on track after two losses but ....ach! we'll just have to wait and see.🫣 _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

If Easton isn’t quite up to 90mins then I imagine he will be on bench, called upon if/when required. Last season’s talisman and somewhat forgotten man of late, Aiden Connolly has hopefully edged even closer to full fitness… Is this the type of game we want to chuck him in from start? Is he ready? Not sure but having that wee bit extra depth this season from middle to front is much appreciated, manager still has plenty options available in terms of how he sets his team up… |

Never confident when facing Dunfermline but there is certainly no reason why we can't win tomorrow. If we are to maintain even slim hopes of a genuine title push then only a victory will do. It is worth remembering that although we have got off to a better start than Dunfermline in this campaign if results go a certain way, and it's not even highly unlikely they won't, then Dunfermline would be above us in the table come a week on Sunday. _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

Not highly unlikely (by Castle)….
Dunfermline win at Starks
We lose at Morton
Dunfermline win at Morton
We lose at home to Airdrie
Easily over 100/1 odds on that, pretty unlikely in my book but if you want to have a wee flutter..go for it! |

Actually SB it's worse than that. They would already be above us before we play Airdrie if those results you say actually happened. We lose our next two games and Dunfermline beat Morton next Friday? I've watched enough football in my time to know that three results happening isn't highly improbable.
Of course it'll be impossible of we win tomorrow. _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

Let’s be positive. Playing against our bitter rivals. Decent sized home support. Feel good factor about the place. Early goal to set us on the way to a victory _________________ Two pints prick |

You said (and I quote) “week on Sunday”
We play Airdrie on the Saturday.
Anyway, I get the general point, if we lose 2moro, we have a raft of teams, including the pars on our ar$es so let’s make sure the opposite of that happens!… |

Hands up SB, you got me. Not only did I not realise that Dunfermline were playing on the Friday I forgot about our midweek game as well. However you got my general point. The feel good nature to our season could quickly evaporate especially with the clocks going back on Sunday... _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |
