Absolutely.
At least the result is a bit better than the last time we played them. Other than Partick result the rest are quite favourable. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

I'm sure Murray is giving Airdrie a helping hand to stay up
Only jesting 3 games in a week with a depleted squad and getting 7 points is a very good achievement |

Airdrie were possibly the best opposition we have faced gris season. We played well in patches - but when Easton came on what a difference he made. Hope Airdrie player is ok he went off in an ambulance with blue lights on. Connolly had a terrific shot which was equalled by an incredible save. All in all a good game to watch. Could have gone either way though. Relieved at the end with the draw. _________________ Here Wee go again |

We can't kid ourselves that we deserved more than a draw. At Airdrie , I felt we were hard done by ,not getting a point ,but today it was a point saved.
Airdrie were up for it from the off. We had our moments but they had more.
What a save by big Kev. Candidate for Save of the Season ,if it looks half as good on Raith TV as it did, live.
We are stretching our squad to breaking point! |

I echo my fellow posters observations from the game. At the end of the day a really good point which could have been 3 or just as easily 0.
A good 7 points from 9 over the last week. Well done to the guys, you really can’t fault them for effort. Looking forward to having a fit Watson, Hamilton and Easton playing 90 minutes in a few weeks time and Mullin and Brown in their proper positions. |

Franco if there was a save of the season it might have been for th Airdrie keeper for stopping Vaughan from scoring in the half.
We miss Brown being in the middle. Stanton doesn't have the defensive capabilities of Brown and although I think Stanton does better in an attacking role when coming from a bit deeper it doesn't do the balance of the midfield any good when we are out of possession.
Can't be anything other than delighted with where we are in th table but it wouldn't take a big dip in our performance levels to see us go on a winless run. Desperately need our injured players to return but Watson and Hamilton still seem some way off. I am tad bit concerned.
ETA; Wasn't it also three games in a week for Airdrie as well? _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt

I see that the "butcher's apron" made an appearance today. Coincidence or not that the opposition was Airdrie?🤔🥺 _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Airdrie were the better side in 1st half…which we won
We were the slightly better side in 2nd half…which we lost
Airdrie probably edged things overall, two crucial moments that went in our favour was them hitting the bar at 0-0 then failing to connect on cross by the proverbial bawhair at death.
Cracking finish by Smith, rare moment of quality in a poor 1st half for ourselves. You had at 1-1 Connolly’s effort well saved then, was it Easton? with the tame finish after our best move of match. Otherwise we were pretty toothless.
Thought Kev was at fault for equaliser, looked like he could have easily claimed the cross leading to corner however he hesitated, stayed on line which forced him to save and needlessly concede it…no corner = no goal.
Missed opportunity with Utd drawing but no ground lost so not a disaster, need some of the walking wounded back fit pronto… |

Saw a photo on Facebook and it was where it was the last time it appeared. At the steps from the Turnbull Hutton Stand to the right of the directors box as you look at it.
Albeit it had Raith Rovers FC printed on it. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!
