Cant make my mind up if the ball was over the line or not and thats looking at it from a number of angles so can understand why ref didn,t give it given his position.Where the assistant is I dont know
However, dont see any excuse why ref didn,t give a penalty in 1st half for the blatant barge on O Reilly _________________ THERES FIVE OF ME |

If you have to give away a penalty then make sure you make a decent job of it. Nothing contentious.
And my goodness that Inverness player followed the instructions to the law.π _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Pretty much in agreement - to be fair to the ref and linesman, if they're not 100% sure if the ball is over, they have to give nothing (unlike Colin Steven at the phantom QOS free kick a few seasons back).
I've no idea how the penalty the Pars were awarded last Friday is given, yet the challenge on O'Reilly is waved away.
The last five minutes epitomised everything that's good about this team - Stanton running to retrieve the ball after the equaliser is a case in point, but what's not yet been mentioned yet was the absolutely magnificent tackle by Shaun Byrne to start the move which led to the penalty. _________________ Dougie Hill

Dinnae envy IM having to pick a starting 11 nowadays, there is nobody in the squad who has not made a fantastic contribution.
I suppose in some ways it is a β good headacheβ to have.π.

It doesn't seem that long ago when we lost (or gave away a lead) in the last 5 minutes. How things have changed. _________________ Keeping the Faith (and the Missionary work!) |

I had a look - I expected a bit of banter and some whingeing - but what? Entitled meltdown! They really did see yesterday akin to Aberdeen losing to Darvel. They really do see their team as some kind of third force in Scottish football, who should never have been relegated. Unless there is some mistake, we are 2nd top of a league in which they are struggling, we get more than double their home attendances and we have beaten them 2/2 this season. I hope IM shows that thread to the players before the next game against them!
"Entitled" does not even come close. Delusions of granduer more like. A bang average Championship club in decline, out in the sticks, hoping for some bored millionaire to take pity on them. What planet are they living on?
Keep rubbing their noses in it please Rovers! And btw - I hope every other team in the league whips their arrogant wee butts - including the Pars! |

Not a fan of ICT and their supporters, Neil ? π
The team played well in the first half and should have been ahead ( for more than one reason! ). The net bulging usually indicates that the whole ball has crossed the line.
The jump into O'Reilly would have been a penalty with a different referee.
Lewis Vaughan played well and his goal was class, taking out the opposing player with a flick of his right boot and a low shot with his left.
Liked watching The Hammer's penalty from the behind the goal angle , the ball swerving away from the keeper then in. |

I think the cause of the bulging net on thus occasion was the goal keeper's glove, fumbling for the ball. For me, impossible to say whether or not the whole of the ball crossed the whole of the line |

I actually admired the way they did what they (and Ross County) did in the past - and what County are still doing - Franco. With success comes permanent expectation and maybe denial I suppose. I guess I'm just not used to the other channel - just civilised Fan Talk! |

The other side's thoughts from their manager. |
Embow, Drunken Duncan has obviously had a lesson on post match press briefing when soundly beaten late in the Game. ........ Just say, "We just couldnae quite see it oot". Then repeat ad nauseam!
I say again. What a great win that was.
