First chance for a reset and we need it not just from our league form of late but also because we need to work out a way to beat Airdrie.
If Watson is fit to start its a no brainer that he comes in. If not ,it's Corr for me. That's in a four man defence with McGill at LB. He's young but has bags of confidence.
A restructured midfield of Brown and Matthews has plenty bite ,an area where we have been conceding possession too often.
If Hamilton is fit ,I'd field him along with Rudden , with Vaughan having a free role to play out wide or drift. Mullen on the right . It's his natural position and Connolly is , like Easton and Byrne ,off form at present. Maybe not much protection ,on paper, for McGill in that formation but, given the other personnel involved, I don't think he would be left exposed.
I'm hoping that true fans of The Rovers will turn out in good numbers. If the negativity on Fantalk and the other channel is widespread across the fan base , perhaps I'm hoping in vain.
C'mon The Rovers, this can still be a great season. |

I agree about giving McGill a start. I have liked what I have seen from him when he has been given a chance whether in midfield or at full back.
Easton has been out of form but this is a former side of his and he will want to impress so for me he also starts
Corr alongside Murray at the back
Dabrowski to rest and get Thomson or McNeill between the sticks. Big Kev appears to not be quite fully recovered from his recent injury
I like Airdrie and the way they play so this could be an entertaining match. _________________ Two pints prick |

Unless the BBC weather reports are inaccurate it's going to be Gayfield conditions at SP on Friday evening.
Vaughany will be regretting not keeping his restart tactics in reserve ! |

Met Office giving average wind speed around 22-25mph with gusts over 40mph through the evening hours when the game is going to be played. Wind direction from WSW.
So I suppose that basically means blowing at an angle from S Stand left hand corner (if you're seated there) across the pitch to the top gate corner and on into Pratt Street.
C'mon and be honest now! You'd really miss a lot of these deep joys if we had summer fitba' 🫣 _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Methinks a 3 month winter break would be awesome 👏.
I get so wrapped up at winter matches I feel like an Eskimo.
And for general info, we do not all feel the same degree of heat/ cold. _________________ Born a Rover Live a Rover Die a Rover |

Most likely to be on the bench I would think. Maybe make a last twenty minutes appearance depending on how the game is going, with a view to being in from the start v United in the next league game. Just my thoughts and just as likely to possibly be way off the mark 🥹 _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

About as strong as we can be at the back with the personnel we have. Good options off the bench for midfield and attack. Still only really Corr as a sub for the defence should anything untoward happen. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Two CB's playing at CB. A while since we have seen that. Byrne on the bench, that's been coming. |

Thomson and Stanton not making the bench I can see, but Masson (our other CB) not making it is perplexing. I know you have to leave one more out, but to have 5 mids, 1 attacker, just 2 defenders and a keeper on the bench… |

FFS, lets give Todarov the freedom of KDY, absolutely abject defending. Look forward to how Murray (a former defender) spins that. _________________ http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk/ |
