That's two in a row for me starting the match threads. No reason not to go for the hat trick 😊
At home versus a strong going Morton. They are due a defeat so why not on Tuesday. It'll be a close game but I think that we can prevail to keep the pressure on at the top.🤞
Going to maybe depend on the injuries picked up today as to how we go into this tactically. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

McNeil a capable replacement if Kev cant make it, Broony at CB again unless Murray is fit enough , Byrne should be back so fingers crossed we can keep the pressure on UTD.
More worried about the Broath on the Friday tbh |

This match will be just as hard as the recent Dundee United match. It's fair to say that we are very poor at dealing with balls into the box and Morton are a side that get the ball into that area regularly.
The outcome of this game will depend on how we deal with the threat of Oakley and Muirhead in particular. Considering the run Morton are on and the continual problems we have in central defence, i will settle for a draw. |

At this stage of the run in I don't think we can settle for anything other than a win. Of course that doesn't mean we are going to get that win and if we are trailing with ten minutes left on the clock then, yeah, I'd happily take a draw at that point but if we have any intention of winning the title we need to beat Morton.
With the blistering form Morton are on this is possibly the toughest game we could have asked for. Although Rudden two from two now I think I'd maybe go for Hamilton. He does a good job in his own box when it comes to defending set pieces and Morton are maybe the most physical side in the league.
We have an abundance of options for the midfield and up front so hopefully Murray can come up with the right combination. _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

£10 admission fee for adults. £5 for everyone else. Great gesture. _________________ Two pints prick |

That Tenner Tuesday should bring back some of those extra, casual fans who appeared for the United game. Clever timing, the right performance and they may stick with us.
Just wondering if we rest LV ( until the latter stages) and go with Zak and Jack upfront? Morton are the biggest, most physical team in the League,as Liam mentioned and Zak and Jack would be useful at both ends. Also gives LV some rest with the short gap between games. He'Il be fired up from not starting ,of course, and probably score when he does come on!
It will be interesting to see what use IM makes of his squad .Real changes as he inferred in his interview....or the usual rotation involving Connolly and Smith ? |
