Apparently not if you were to listen to some of the season ticket holders who didn't want to, or were unable to accept it for the purpose it was intended for. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Bang on
“ We smashed our highest midweek home attendance in seven years, with a crowd of 4,175.
Despite lowering ticket prices, we still generated more revenue than nine of our previous home league matches this season.”

I can only think that they feel that they've already paid slightly under full whack for their seat when they bought the season ticket so why should others pay even less for a seat. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Adult, full price ticket was $315. PatG for all games would be $400…with this discount it’s $388. The season ticket holders have now only saved $73, vice $85…oh dear, the humanity. |

As a season ticket holder, I fully applaud the board for last night's pricing initiative. The thought of it "devaluing" my season ticket never entered my mind.
Any season ticket holder with a gripe should remember that they were given first dibs on the free bus travel to Tannadice in December. _________________ Dougie Hill

Agree SG - I buy my season ticket to support the club - any initiative to bring in funds and supporters is a plus. I only attend about 1/3 of the home games and especially don’t attend evening game as driving back to Porty after 10 pm is a minus. _________________ Here Wee go again |

Not fussed if it makes us money and raises interest.
What did bother me was folk in me and the bairn’s seat (pretty regular occurrence)… seemed part of a large group of 6/10….we arrived about 2mins into game so didn’t feel comfortable asking two of them to bolt then sitting in middle of their pals!
Other gripes were severe lack of noise/support once again….the stand was almost full, we are in title challenge and playing the form side in division yet barely a peep. I take it there was no singing section? If so, they need to be re-labelled as “section”.
The support at home and on road in terms of decibels is chalk and cheese, it’s a shame as 4,000 fans roaring the side on in games like that last night could make all the difference. |

SB there was quite a surge of noise and singing when the news of Airdrie taking the lead filtered through. I was hoping it might awaken the 11 players on the pitch playing out a snore fest but alas not.
The crowd only comes alive when things happen on the park.
I agree the away supports are far better. Theres something tribal about being in someone else's patch and imposing yourself and backing the team. Alcohol also helps. |

Totally!
Instead of cheaper tickets, maybe a quarter bottle of vodka on entry for every paying adult? |

There was no singing section for some unknown reason
Think we have now had three trials with singing section.None consecutively
Agree with both SG and NR _________________ THERES FIVE OF ME |

I still think the singing section should be housed in the Railway Stand, the section nearest us in the South Stand.
Anyway, lets hope we can get back to our passing game. |
