If you watch this clip https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UoEeCDqnAVk while the players are celebrating Hardie comes over (1:43) and says something (message from the bench?) and the celebrations are cut short. Handling holds his hands out as if to say why? then as McManus is running back past the dugout something is obviously said to him that he takes great exception to (judging by the hand gesture).
I'm puzzled. Any theories?
Whatever the reason I suspect relations between certain individuals are very strained behind the scenes. |
Very interesting, there us certainly goings on that even Hughes hasn't mentioned in his pre & post match.
I wouldn't be surprised if there were huge fractures with Hughes & the players as Hughes gas publicly slagged players but maybe we're reading to much into it & Hardie is only passing a message on to focus as there was still time left....
Who knows? Will we ever know?
Somebody ask Hughes in the next interview |

that took real character to get a result after such a calamitous start to the game......... Penskas challenge was horrific to say the least, but great credit to Brennan for that penalty save and a couple of others during the game, from the highlights I though Handling should've been given a penalty and not a yellow card it looked a clear foul to me.
the same level of character and commitment over the next games should see us remain in the championship hopefully |

Surely just something along the lines of "St Mirren are doing what they need to, we are still 2nd bottom so stop rolling about the ground like you have just scored a last min winner in the World Cup final" |
