Byrne was the one at fault for the Queens goal from corner a couple of weeks ago too.
Kev hasn’t been great with several of the goals conceded this season but after watching highlights, can’t really fault him today (unlike the defenders in front of him)
Another thing which can be picked up on highlights, what is Dick playing at for their 1st?! Had he not raised his arm for offside then proceed to turn and look at linesman then he gets back to make the challenge. Play to whistle is something you learn at Primary School age for goodness sake. |

Never noticed Dick sticking his arm for offside but saw Euan Murray who got caught with the ball over the top stick his arm up for it _________________ THERES FIVE OF ME |

Ewan Murray loses his man for the first by the time he's worked out what's happening Samuel has a 3-4 yard start, basic stuff.
The second goal comes from a powder puff clearing header from Dick and an even more wishy washy challenge from Mullin who seemed frightened to put any sort challenge in on Samuel.
The third is poor from Byrne, he allows Samuel to get across him and get to the ball and get it on target.
All three goals could be said to have come from the lack of a dominant defence, Ian Murrays team was poorly set out, Millen's best attribute is his ability to get forward, no chance of that if he's in a back 3. Brown's best place is in the middle, a stop gap defender at best he's by no means a centre half.
Byrne is off the boil from what he was and Easton doesn't look as interested as he was, he's been awful since Tannadice. We miss Stanton so, so badly.
I lost count of the times Rovers lost individual battles, other than against Hamilton and Rudden the ICT players had a field day. With such a short team why do we play the long ball so much? _________________ Competitive goals: Vaughan 19, Easton 11, Hamilton 10, Smith 9, Stanton 7, Mullin 4, Connolly 3, O'Reilly 3, Rudden 3, S Brown 2, Dick 1, Gullan 1, Masson 1, Matthews 1, Millen 1, Mitchell 1, Murray, Watson 1, OG's 1, |
