We deserved nothing and got nothing. What we didn't deserve was having to listen to the 2 pathetic cogie commentators. This is the first time I've heard them and it will be the last. A disgrace. |

Even if we were to win the game in hand against Airdrie (doubtful) I think if points are still to be dropped then it's more likely going to be us. I can't see United dropping points from here in to the finish to be honest. This is a massive boost for them today as it would have been for us.
Feel free to return to here to give me pelters when we beat Arbroath on the last day of the season to win the league 🙄 _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

It’s still not over.
Wasn’t to be today and we were done by the clever cheating by Watt and Moult.
Should have been a red for the foul on Murray
Onto the next match _________________ Two pints prick |

Worst performance of the season and we produced it in the biggest game of the season. Every time this season Murray has tried to be clever with the team selection we've come unstuck (Pars cup game the exception).
Watson didn't appear unfit so why he wasn't playing instead of Scott Brown I can't figure out. Brown has done admirably as a stand in centre half but he was badly exposed today. Didn't help of course that we went with such a light weight midfield line up. All week we've been talking about keeping it tight and let's frustrate Utd and get their fans on their backs. Instead we surrendered the middle of the park. Second to every ball that mattered. You need to earn and battle for the space and time that would let our more technical players flourish. Utd were stronger, faster and better.
I don't post on p&b but I do read the match threads. I'll be giving that a swerve though as the Utd fans will be rightly gloating and they'll be asking 'exactly who was rattled again?' _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

It's started but as yet mainly from one or two followers of the fortunes of the Halbeath Road rabble. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Ach!
However just count the saves big Kev had to make against the nil saves Walton was asked to deal with.......? C'mon Guys, Sadly the truth is the Arabs deserved their victory today.
Aye. They cleared off the line and we hit the Bar, but not hitting the Onion bag has yet again been our downfall.
Seriously though, if we beat Ayr next week and follow that with a win against Airdrie and the Game's back on.

On today's showing and team selection beating Ayr and Airdrie I fear will be a step too far. If we drop points to either knowing our luck United might also concede (unlikely) to QP and/or Morton and the advantage is gone again.
Just need to take one game at a time and hope something pans out in our favour.
It's a big ask/hope in my opinion.
Disappointing result and performance today but I just get a sense it is also a season defining one despite everyone's hopes, mine included, as far as the title is concerned.
We've also certainly got to make sure that we don't slip closer to a revived Patrick. That would be a total bummer. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

it was a bit like the Arbroath game in terms of line up, tactics and subs, ineffective, inadequate and unintelligible _________________ http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk/ |

As soon as the team was announced i knew we were beat. IM got it wrong today. We've had three clean sheets in the last three games with Matthews playing a pivotal role and he's benched along with Byrne.
Today was all about making it a dire midfield battle, frustrating them and get the crowd against them. Playing RM or SB would've went a long way to achieving that. Too many neat and tidy lightweight midfielders who basically bent over for United who's confidence must've been fragile.
This is the start of the last two games v Arbroath coming back to haunt us. We need to regroup now and hope for the best and a few teams doing us a favour. |

A draw would’ve suited us today. Why did we start with such a lightweight midfield? This game needed Hamilton and Matthews/Byrne in the starting 11.
United will drop points in their remaining games, especially away from home. We need to make sure the rest of our games are treated like cup finals. |

Has to be the managers fault. Why drop players who were playing well and instead bring in lads that were far too weak????
Tactics - Rubbish |

That was completely on Ian Murray today.
In a game we didn't actually have to win to retain title aspirations in our own hands away to the title favourites, surely first and foremost we set up to be hard to beat. Leaving Byrne, Matthews and Watson on the bench was madness in my opinion.
We looked far too light weight in the middle of the park in what was an ugly battle. No metal in there at all.
Watson looked fine when he came on for Murray which then begs the question why Brown started at centre half.
Really disappointed but unfortunately for me the set up and selection today contributed greatly to the outcome. |

Just watched IM post match interview, it was like he didn't really care, the only time he got even slightly animated was when he was talking about how the game has changed from his days.
Okay so I don't want to see Mourinho style rants but jeez man, show some passion or anger, show something ffs! _________________ http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk/ |

Given the large majority of supporters feedback are saying the same thing about today's team selection I'm surprised Mickey Cameron didn't take Murray to one side and tell him no, just no to that line up. |
