Shippy 0-2 Dunfermline, match abandoned, one of the Dunfermline lads sustained a serious injury.

Interestingly it was one of their first team players as well, few Dunfermline fans a bit miffed that they chose to play him in that type of game much like our grievances about playing Lennox against Brora Rangers.

The mercury is to drop next week and in my opinion this game will be in doubt.

Hopefully Cowdenbeath will decline to play and allow us to pump Bisland 7-0 in the final again. Just like we did back in the 89/90 season. What a time to be alive!

I see that even the Fife Cup has a wiki page.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fife_Cup

Does it need a bit of updating? Surely we can’t be the only side to win a Fife Cup since 2008?

I remember when the Fife cup was a relatively big game in the calendar. I remember Gordon Wallace Mk 1 making his debut at least end park on a midweek night. I think he scored 4 goals as we won 5-4. Great times!!

It will come as no surprise to no one that this game has been postponed.

Kelty Hearts have applied for membership of the Fife FA, which probably means more games not to be played.

Credit to the Cowdenbeath programme editor, there seems to have been a lot of work put into this.

Burntisland Shipyard have indicated a date for the final (Tuesday 24th April 7pm).

Here's hoping a rearranged date for the semi-final can be agreed soon.
